Error Codes  for the Apollo Air / Apollo Air Pro / Apollo City 2022 Models 

E1/F1 Brake Error

Error Code : If E1/F1 is reported, the brake handle, regen throttle or it's connections could be experiencing a communication fault.

Solution 1 : Check whether the brake handle wire is connected properly.

Solution 2 : Check whether the regen throttle wire is connected properly.

Solution 3: If the Brake Handle wire and Regen Throttle wire are properly connected and the error code remains, Please reach out to our support team at [email protected] for further troubleshooting instructions.


E2/F2 Accelerator Throttle Error

Error Code : If E2/F2 is reported, the throttle or it's connection could be faulty.

Solution 1 : Check to make sure that the throttle is not out of position, if the throttle is out of position turn off the scooter and reposition the throttle before turning the scooter back on.

Solution 2 : Check whether the throttle wire is connected properly and the throttle isn't out of position.

Solution 3 : If the error code remains after checking the throttle wire, please reach out to our support team at [email protected] for further troubleshooting instructions.


E3 Communication Error

Error Code : if E3 is reported there is a headset communication fault.

Solution 1 : Check if the connection between the handlebar assembly and the communication cable in the stem is good.

Note: this is the same cable that is required to connect the handlebars to the scooter stem.

Solution 2 : If the error code remains present after re-connecting the communication wire, please reach out to our support team at [email protected] for further troubleshooting instructions.


E4 Over Current Protection

Error Code : If E4 error is reported continuously, it may be a hardware fault of the controller. 

Solution : Please reach out to our support team at [email protected] for troubleshooting instructions.


E5 Under Voltage Protection

Error Code : If E5 is reported continuously, this could mean battery voltage is too low.

Solution 1 : Charge the unit to full and turn on again to see if the error code remains active.

Solution 2 : If the error code remains active after fully charging the unit, please reach out to our support team at [email protected] for further troubleshooting instructions.


E6 Over Voltage Protection

Error Code : If E6 is reported the battery voltage is too high.

Solution : The battery voltage is too high, avoid sudden braking, rushing actions and it will return to normal when part of the power has been used up.

E7 Motor Sensor Error

Error Code : If E7 is reported this means that a faulty motor sensor is present.

Solution : If you experience a E7 error code, please reach out to our support team at [email protected] for troubleshooting instructions.


E8 Motor Phase Loss

Error Code : If E8 is reported this means that one or more phase connectors are not properly connected or properly working.

Solution 1 : Check if the phase wires are properly connected.

Solution 2 : If phase wires are properly connected and the error code remains active, please reach out to our support team at [email protected] for further troubleshooting instructions.


E9 Controller Error

Error Code : If E9 is reported continuously, this means that there is controller communication fault.

Solution : If you experience a E9 error code, please reach out to our support team at [email protected] for troubleshooting instructions..
