What does XCover extended warranty cover?Updated a year ago

As of April 14th, 2023, Extend extended warranty replaced XCover Go as the offering for US customers. If you purchased XCover before April 14th, you are still covered! For more details, check out this article.

XCover Go extended warranty will expand our current limited warranty in the first year to also cover:

  • Mechanical malfunctions of the body or frame

  • Chassis and internal electronics

  • Brake failure

  • Issues with the motor

  • Wiring

  • Battery defects (over time batteries will lose capacity, but if it fails to charge the scooter it may be a mechanical failure)

For the first 12 months after your purchase, Apollo's 12-Month Limited Warranty will continue to cover you for all manufacturing defects. 

In the 2nd year onwards, XCover Go will cover everything included in our limited warranty PLUS the additional items listed above for the entire coverage period. 

XCover Go does not cover:

  • Brake pads

  • Tires

  • Inner tubes

  • Wear and Tear items (fenders, kick stands, cosmetic plastic covers)

  • Damages, malfunctions, or performance problems caused by collision, fire, accident, environmental conditions, overloading, lack of routine care and maintenance, and/or other misuse not in line with the scooter & intended purpose
